Before I started making icons, I was so much more a part of fandom. I think since I discovered PhotoShop, graphics have become my first fandom, actually. Icon making steals practically all my fandom time away from me. Yeah, icon making has become fandom, to me.
But what about the people, I feel like I'm loosing everyone, and it's my own fault for not managing to reply to comments like I should, like you deserve, for flying over my friend page, most of the time. I think I've *never* been as ignoring of my flist's posts as I am now. It's bad, because while I care for you all, I care a *lot* about some of you, and still lately I know not even my affections have been able make me to listen to you and be there for you.
I see my icons popping up here and there, and I think, well. It looks like now you really are a part of fandom, you and your icons. But then I realize that while my icons pop up here and there, it's me who's missing. And maybe I think it's a bit sad, but still it doesn't change the fact that my *passion* right now lies in PS and graphics. And sometimes I think, my icons aren't so much about Brian and Justin as much as about icons, and making a pretty, if useless, thing that I can be proud of. Bottom line is, I may have become a good icon-maker, but in the process I also became an AWFUL friend.
I am an artist. I sort of forgot it while struggling through high school, but I am. At least, I feel like I have an artist's heart. It may not seem very credible to you, but I do know how to draw WELL ;)
And now that I have found this new form of artistic realise, it looks like nothing else can slip through but that.

Oh. Um. I needed to get that off my very sad flat chest. Aloa.
Wait. Can you remember my crazy picspasms? I bet you're relieved I don't do that anymore, LOL. But I think they were endearing. How could you not love me! hehe.
Oh, and. About the icon I said I was so proud of? It's the one I'm posting with, and fuck me, but it has gorgeous colors, and a gorgeous sleeping beauty, and it's overall a great icon, if I may say so myself ;P

I am a bit...quite...a lot...INCREDIBLY anxious.
But I shall be going with another girl, so there. At least I won't suffer alone :D
Is it a good sign that they sent me a message reminding me of the appointment?
It could mean that:
1) They don't trust I'll show up in a timely manner.
2) They were so impressed with me, they want to make sure I won't forget about it...yeah, right xD
3) It doesn't mean anything, they are just very meticulous and send the same message to everyone of the people who will be interviewed.
Also, remember what I said about taking a break from icon-making? I am SO not doing my part xD
I am making icons. It's bad, flist mine, it really is. I feel like an addict. I think that if I ever get a job that keeps me away from home most of the day, I shall suffer from severe photoshop deficiency and start hitting my head on walls.
Ok, maybe not. But I'm telling you, it's bad. :|
BUT OMG I DO BELIEVE I'VE MADE MY BEST ICON EVAH. I LOVE IT TO THE POINT OF DYING A LITTLE BIT. Oh, when that happens, when you manage to create something you're ridiculously proud of...it's like, who needs orgasms anyway xD

I TRY, I swear I do. But I just can't refrain! This is why making your own screencaps is dangerous. You end up with so many shots, it's only natural that you'll make a billion icons from one single scene. Isn't it?

Well, maybe it's just me who's totally nuts. Fact is, I have 50 icons here. You might remember that in my last batch there was this icon from the bracelet scene at the end of episode 304...I thought that would be a good scene to iconize more...uh, more closely. So I did that. Then I moved to ice cream kisses, both the classic ice cream kisses (S1) and the ice cream kisses redux (S3). And then there is a random Giastin icon that I made just to reach 50 icons ^__^
Mmm, what else. Oh, yes. I am quite happiful to say that while last time I wasn't very happy with the batch, this time I am satisfied. Mostly :D
